Great news for Alphabet and its users today as the tech giant revealed its Q3 2026 earnings, and it seems their hefty investments in Artificial Intelligence are paying off in a big way. According to the latest financial report, AI is directly contributing to a substantial year-over-year increase in search queries.

Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai stated in a release, "Our AI investments are driving overall Search query growth, including commercial queries. In fact, our year-over-year query growth rate is the highest it's been in the last five years." This is a significant indicator that the company's focus on AI development is not just a future play, but a present-day driver of its core business.

Beyond search, Alphabet's consolidated revenues for the quarter reached an impressive $127.6 billion, marking a 25 percent increase compared to the previous year. While "Google Search & other" revenues saw a healthy 12 percent year-over-year jump, it was Google Cloud that truly stole the show, with revenues soaring by an incredible 103 percent to hit $30.7 billion. This dual growth in search and cloud services, both powered by AI advancements, paints a very optimistic picture for Alphabet's future.

For us, the users, this means a potentially more intelligent and responsive search experience, and for businesses, a more robust and advanced cloud platform. It looks like AI is not just a buzzword for Alphabet; it's becoming the engine powering its continued success.
