Amazfit is quietly shifting from value-focused wearables toward a more premium market, according to new details. The company is said to be broadening its higher-end smartwatch family while simultaneously working on a 'hybrid training platform' that mixes structured coaching with smart tracking.

Historically, Amazfit has built a reputation for offering strong battery life and competitive features at wallet-friendly prices. The new push appears aimed at users who want those practical strengths but also expect richer training tools and a more refined hardware experience—think higher-quality materials, improved screens, and deeper fitness analytics.

The hybrid training platform concept looks designed to bridge two worlds. On one side are platform-style coaching ecosystems—subscription-led services that provide guided plans and workouts. On the other are lightweight, watch-centered features such as automatic workout detection and on-device metrics. Combining the two could give athletes or serious hobbyists a more cohesive experience without forcing everyone into a subscription-first model.

For Amazfit, the move makes sense. The wearables market is crowded, and premium multisport watches from legacy players have eaten into the higher-margin segment.
