Apple Discontinues the Mac Pro as Mac Studio Rises

Apple has quietly discontinued the Mac Pro, the tower-style desktop that served professional users since its 2019 revival. The machine no longer appears on Apple's official Mac lineup or in its storefront, and reporting from industry outlets indicates the Mac Studio is now the company’s leading professional desktop offering.

The 2019 Mac Pro returned with a familiar cheese‑grater chassis, Intel processors and ample expansion slots aimed at creatives and pro workflows. At the time it was pitched as a course correction after years of complaints about Mac performance for demanding users.
