Apple Slashes Price on New Apple TV 4K with AI Features

Great news for streaming enthusiasts! Just days after its announcement, Apple's brand new Apple TV 4K is already seeing its first discount. While the new model comes with a higher price tag than its 2022 predecessor, Amazon is offering a pre-order deal that brings the cost down slightly. You can snag the latest streaming box for $289.99 ($9 off) ahead of its November 13th release.

This new generation Apple TV 4K is powered by the A19 chip and introduces exciting new features, most notably the integration of Siri AI. This allows for hands-free requests, meaning you can ask for recommendations, inquire about what you're watching, or get personalized suggestions, especially if you have an iPhone or iPad connected that supports Apple Intelligence. The device also features far-field microphones, making these voice commands even more seamless.

While some might have hoped for more significant upgrades, Apple has included some notable improvements. The Siri Remote now supports Find My precision tracking, so you'll never lose it down the sofa again. Plus, the new Apple TV 4K supports a more expansive surround-sound setup, allowing you to pair up to four HomePod speakers for an immersive audio experience.

Beyond the Apple TV 4K deal, there are a couple of other interesting offers worth checking out. If you're a fan of Nintendo's adorable strategy games, Pikmin 4 is available digitally for $39.88 at Walmart. For those looking to protect their iPhones, Woot has a wide range of Otterbox cases on sale, with some models dropping to as low as $5.99. And if you're in need of a handy tool for small tasks, Fanttik's S1 Pro electric screwdriver is on sale for $45.99 at Amazon.

It's always a good sign when new tech gets discounted shortly after launch, and this Apple TV 4K deal is no exception. It seems Apple is keen to make its latest streaming device accessible, even with its premium features and price point. Happy streaming (and saving)!
