Belkin's Pro Charging Case for the Nintendo Switch 2 upgrades the bundled battery with a smarter design and convenience features. It costs $100 and trades some portability for an integrated, cable-free charging experience.

Belkin's Pro Charging Case for the Nintendo Switch 2 takes the company's earlier travel pouch and battery combo and refines it into a more polished kit. Priced at $100 (up from $70 for the original), the new model keeps the same general shape and materials but adds a purpose-built battery pack with practical usability gains.

At 11.7 x 6.1 x 2.5 inches and roughly 1 pound 12 ounces, the Pro is a touch larger and heavier than the previous case. Inside, you'll still find the snug cutouts, velvet-like lining and a padded flap that doubles as a 12-slot cartridge holder. Those small touches make it easy to store and protect a Switch 2, provided your console isn't wearing an especially chunky third‑party shell.

The real differences live in the battery. Belkin includes a 10,000mAh pack—same capacity as before—but redesigned with two USB-C ports, a kickstand and an integrated connector that plugs directly into the Switch 2 when the case is closed. That layout means you can top up the console without fishing for a cable, and you can recharge the power pack from the outside of the case thanks to an external USB-C socket and a side display showing remaining charge.

Other practical additions include a mesh pocket for cables and accessories and a hidden AirTag pouch for recovery chances if the case goes missing. The battery’s awkward shape, however, makes it less appealing as a standalone power bank, which is a notable trade-off compared with more generic portable packs.

After a couple weeks of use, the Pro Charging Case feels like a more elegant, integrated solution—especially if you enjoy cable-free convenience and the occasional built-in kickstand for playing while charging. For those who prioritize maximum portability and a versatile power bank, the extra $30 might not be worth it. But if you value a streamlined on-the-go kit tailored to the Switch 2, Belkin’s Pro model is a compelling option.
