Bridgerton Season 5: Everything We Know So Far

Netflix has officially confirmed Bridgerton Season 5, shifting the spotlight to Eloise's highly anticipated love story.
The ton is abuzz once again! Just as we were catching our breath from the emotional rollercoaster of Season 4, Netflix has officially given us the green light for Bridgerton Season 5. If you are a fan of the Regency-era drama, you probably already know that the spotlight is shifting toward a fan-favorite character who has spent most of the series avoiding the marriage mart altogether: Eloise Bridgerton.
While Season 4 focused on Benedict’s long-awaited "Masquerade Ball" romance, the next chapter looks set to adapt Julia Quinn’s fifth book, "To Sir Phillip, With Love." For those who haven't read the books, Eloise’s journey is a bit of a departure from the standard ballroom proposals we’ve seen so far. It’s expected to be a more intellectual and perhaps more rebellious love story, fitting for our favorite feminist lead.
In terms of timing, don't pack your bags for Mayfair just yet. Historically, Bridgerton has followed a roughly two-year production cycle. Given the scale of the production, we are likely looking at a late 2026 release date. Showrunner Jess Brownell has previously mentioned that the intricate costumes and massive sets simply require that much time to maintain the quality we love.
As for the cast, we expect the core Bridgerton family to return. Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton will likely continue their appearances, while the real question remains: how will the show handle the transition from the glitz of London to the more secluded setting of Eloise’s story? Whatever the case, it looks like Netflix has another massive hit in the oven.
