CMF's Quirky Milk Carton Speakers Pair Up and Support Auracast

Get ready for some fun audio accessories because CMF, the sister company to the tech brand Nothing, has just unveiled its first-ever portable Bluetooth speakers. And let's just say, they're not shy about making a statement. These new speakers sport a rather playful design, shaped distinctly like miniature milk cartons. It’s a bold choice that’s sure to grab attention in a market often filled with more conventional-looking gadgets.

But CMF isn't just about looks. These milk carton speakers are designed to be quite versatile. For starters, they can be paired together, allowing you to create a stereo sound experience or simply amplify your audio output. Imagine having two of these cute little cartons working in harmony to fill your space with sound. It’s a neat trick that adds a lot of value for users looking for a more immersive listening session without shelling out for a single, larger speaker.

What's even more impressive is CMF's forward-thinking approach with Auracast support. This emerging Bluetooth standard allows for broadcasting audio to an unlimited number of nearby devices. Think of it like public radio for your personal audio – you can tune into a broadcast source, and potentially share your music with a crowd of friends who also have Auracast-enabled devices. This feature hints at future possibilities for shared listening experiences, whether at a park gathering or a small get-together.

While we haven't had a chance to put them through their paces just yet, the initial hands-on impressions suggest these CMF speakers are aiming to blend unique aesthetics with practical functionality. For anyone who appreciates a bit of personality in their tech, these milk carton speakers might just be the next addition to their setup. We're eager to see how they perform and if they can deliver on the promise of fun, shareable audio.
