Forza Horizon 6 PS5 Release Delayed to January 2027

Forza Horizon fans, we've got some news that might not be what you were hoping for. Playground Games has officially announced a delay for the PlayStation 5 version of Forza Horizon 6. While it was initially revealed earlier this year that the game would hit PS5 in 2026, it seems we'll have to wait a little longer.

The new target launch date is now January 26th, 2027. This delay means that the PS5 release will now coincide with a brand-new expansion for the game, which is certainly a silver lining. For those eager to get their hands on it sooner, Playground Games will also be offering a Premium Edition for PS5 players. This special edition will grant up to five days of early access before the official January 26th release date.

Forza Horizon 6 first made its debut on Xbox and PC back on May 15th. The upcoming expansion that will accompany the PS5 launch will also be available for Xbox and PC players in January, ensuring everyone gets to experience the latest content around the same time. It's a bit of a bummer for PS5 owners looking forward to hitting the virtual roads, but at least the wait will bring a more complete package with the new expansion.
