Kodree, a Kyiv-based B2C edtech platform built by Rist Labs founders, has secured $10 million in user acquisition (UA) financing from financial services firm PvX Partners. The non-dilutive capital is aimed at accelerating global user growth and expanding marketing efforts.

Rist Labs was launched by the team behind Ukrainian edtech company Mate academy — Roman Apostol, Anna Apostol and Max Lysak — as a studio focused on building AI‑powered consumer products for Tier‑1 markets. Kodree is the studio’s first product and operates as a separate company with its own P&L, led by CEO and former Mate Academy Head of Product Oleksandr Bartosiuk.

The subscription-based platform blends structured learning paths with an AI assistant that suggests solutions, checks answers and gives feedback. Kodree emphasises hands‑on practice—roughly 80% of the learning experience, according to the team—backed by real‑world projects and group collaboration to help learners build tangible skills rather than passive knowledge.

Today Kodree reports users in 185 countries, serving people seeking career switches as well as professionals aiming to upskill. The product’s combination of guided curricula, practical exercises and AI support is designed to shorten learning curves and increase job readiness for in‑demand roles.

PvX Partners specialises in cohort financing and market intelligence for consumer apps, offering scalable, non‑dilutive capital — in this case to fund Kodree’s user acquisition push. The financing will primarily be used to scale marketing activities and accelerate global expansion.

For the founders and the team, launching Rist Labs and Kodree reflects an ongoing effort to turn product experiments into repeatable, market‑ready solutions. If the new funding delivers on its promise, Kodree could become a notable entrant in the crowded AI‑driven edtech space by prioritising practical, project‑based learning at scale.
