LG, known for its OLED dominance, is venturing into the RGB LED TV market with its new MRGB95B model. While offering impressive brightness and color, the TV struggles with significant reflectivity, a drawback not seen in some less expensive competitors.

LG, a name long associated with cutting-edge OLED technology and consistently outperforming rivals like Samsung and Sony, is making a significant push into the RGB LED TV arena for 2026. The company has launched its $3,600 75-inch Micro RGB evo MRGB95B, a model I've had the chance to test out. This new TV certainly leverages the inherent advantages of RGB LED technology, boasting impressive brightness and vibrant color reproduction. However, as is often the case with new tech, it's not without its flaws, and some of these issues were quite noticeable during my evaluation.

The MRGB95B is available in multiple sizes, with the 75-inch model being the most compact option. Connectivity is robust, featuring four HDMI 2.1 ports, and it supports Dolby Vision, though it notably omits Dolby Atmos support. While the picture quality is undeniably striking, with deep blacks and vivid hues that truly pop, the panel's highly reflective surface proved to be a persistent challenge. In any room with ambient light, reflections from windows or lamps can easily overpower the on-screen image, detracting from the viewing experience. This is a significant oversight, especially considering the premium price point and the fact that some of its more budget-friendly competitors manage to mitigate this issue more effectively.

For those seeking the absolute brightest and most colorful viewing experience, LG's MRGB95B certainly delivers. The technology behind it allows for stunning visual fidelity. However, potential buyers should seriously consider their viewing environment. If your room is prone to ambient light, the reflectivity could be a deal-breaker. It's a trade-off that makes you wonder if the cutting-edge features fully compensate for this rather fundamental drawback. We'll be keeping an eye on how LG addresses these panel concerns in future iterations.
