Refurbished MacBook Neo Back on Sale, Plus Other Tech Deals

Great news for those looking for an affordable Apple laptop! The MacBook Neo, often considered Apple's most budget-friendly option, has made a comeback at its pre-price hike prices. Available in all four colors, these refurbished models offer a compelling way to snag a Mac without breaking the bank.

The base model, featuring 256GB of storage, is currently priced at $599, down from its usual new price of $699. For those who need a bit more space or prefer the added security of TouchID, the upgraded version with 512GB of storage and TouchID is available for $679, a considerable drop from its $799 new price. As with all Apple refurbished products, these MacBooks come with a one-year manufacturer's warranty, and customers have the option to extend coverage with an AppleCare plan.

Our colleague, Antonio G. Di Benedetto, found the MacBook Neo to be quite impressive, especially considering it's powered by the A18 Pro chip, the same processor found in the iPhone 16 Pro. While power users might find the 8GB of RAM and storage speeds a tad limiting, the laptop shines with its excellent display, comfortable keyboard, and quality speakers. This makes it an ideal choice for users who primarily browse the web and use less demanding applications, as well as for students heading to high school or college.
