The Elder Scrolls VI Sentinel: Bethesda Reveals Next Game's Name

Exciting news for fans of epic fantasy adventures! Bethesda has finally pulled back the curtain on the official name for the next game in the beloved The Elder Scrolls franchise. Get ready to venture into the world of The Elder Scrolls VI Sentinel. The reveal happened during a special video commemorating 40 years of Bethesda Game Studios, a celebration that was thankfully under 10 minutes long, keeping us all on the edge of our seats for just the right amount of time.

It feels like ages ago – more than eight years, in fact – since Bethesda first teased the existence of the sixth main entry in the Elder Scrolls saga. Studio head Todd Howard mentioned today that it felt like the "perfect time" to officially christen the game with its full title. While this is a huge step forward, Bethesda is keeping details about The Elder Scrolls VI Sentinel under wraps for now. The accompanying Xbox Wire press release was, quite literally, just a picture of the game's logo, leaving us hungry for more information.

The teaser video, which you can check out above, was part of a larger celebration of Bethesda's four decades in the gaming industry. While we don't have any gameplay or story details yet, the confirmation of the name itself is a massive win for the community that has been eagerly awaiting any news. We'll be keeping a close eye on Bethesda for any further announcements regarding The Elder Scrolls VI Sentinel, so stay tuned, adventurers!
