TikTok is stepping into the ring against AI-generated impersonations by testing a new opt-in tool designed to identify and flag AI likenesses. This move, first highlighted by social media consultant Matt Navarra, aims to empower creators by giving them a way to report unauthorized uses of their digital personas. Initially, the tool is being piloted with a select group of creators in the United States, according to TikTok US spokesperson Zachary Kizer.
