Truecaller has introduced a family-focused safety tool that gives one person admin privileges over a family group, enabling them to receive alerts about suspected scam calls to other members and even hang up those calls remotely.

The feature is designed for households where older relatives or less tech-savvy members are often targeted by voice scams. When Truecaller flags a suspicious call to someone in the family group, the appointed admin gets a notification with context about the call and — if needed — an option to end the call on the recipient's device.
