If you are a fan of minimalist and addictive puzzle games, you probably know Dinosaur Polo Club. The studio behind the hits Mini Metro and Mini Motorways has just surprised the gaming community by shadow-dropping a brand new title. Titled RTFM (which stands for Read the F*cking Manual), this game is a departure from their usual city-planning sims, diving instead into the chaotic world of tech support.

Currently available for free on PC and Mac through Itch.io, RTFM is a passion project born from a game jam within the company. It’s an asymmetric co-op experience that relies heavily on communication, much like the popular Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. One player takes on the role of the "Troubleshooter," who holds the physical (or digital) manual, while the other is the "Terminal Operator," who sees the actual console screen. Since the Troubleshooter can't see the screen and the Operator doesn't have the instructions, success depends entirely on how well you can talk to each other.

The game is set in a somewhat eerie workplace environment, blending team-building mechanics with an atmospheric vibe that leans slightly toward the horror genre. Depending on your choices and how much you trust your partner, the game offers multiple endings. It seems like the perfect way to test your friendships—or your patience with your colleagues. Dinosaur Polo Club describes it as a game of trust, where stretching the truth might lead to unexpected consequences.

For those looking for a quick, high-quality indie experience without spending a dime, RTFM looks like a must-play. It showcases the studio's ability to take a simple concept and turn it into something deeply engaging. You can head over to their Itch.io page right now to grab your copy and start troubleshooting.
