The world of compact cinematography is buzzing today with some very exciting news for content creators. Reliable leaker Igor Bogdanov recently shared an intriguing image on X, showing what appears to be two different versions of a handheld stabilized camera. While we were already expecting the DJI Osmo Pocket 4, this new leak suggests that a 'Pro' model might be joining the lineup, and it looks like it’s packing some serious heat.

According to the rumors, the standout feature of this potential DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro is a dual-camera system. For those of us who have used the previous models, we know that the fixed focal length was sometimes a limitation. If these leaks hold true, the Pro version will likely pair a high-quality ultrawide lens with a dedicated telephoto lens. This would finally bring true optical zoom capabilities to the Pocket series, allowing for much more creative flexibility without the loss of detail that comes with digital cropping.

DJI is already expected to host an event on April 16th, where the standard Osmo Pocket 4 is likely to make its official debut. However, the big question remains: will the Pro version be revealed alongside it, or will DJI keep us waiting a bit longer? The leaked photo shows both devices side-by-side, which usually hints at a simultaneous launch or at least a very close release window.

For you, the mobile videographers and vloggers out there, this could be the upgrade you've been waiting for. Having a stabilized telephoto lens in your pocket would be a game-changer for capturing B-roll and distant subjects. We’ll be keeping a close eye on the April 16th announcement to see if DJI officially confirms this dual-camera beast. It seems like the competition in the handheld gimbal market is about to get a lot more interesting!
